Reeves
Gabrels is a Grammy-nominated guitarist/songwriter/producer and computer
jockey probably best known for both his work with David Bowie and his
aggressive guitar style that combines the visceral energy of rock, the
harmonic sophistication of jazz, the emotional honesty of blues and country,

Reeves is firing off some fierce leads on this one! The Sustainer is
on during the entire clip, it's really noticeable when he holds a note
at the end of a run. That's the beauty of the Fernandes Sustainer, you
can play in your usual style but when you want the Sustainer to kick
in it's right there grabbing the note! |

Steve
Hunter is one of those rare players who has the uncanny ability
to play the perfect guitar part. Thats why Lou Reed, Alice Cooper,
Peter Gabriel, Aerosmith, David Lee Roth, and Tracy Chapman have all had
him record or tour with them. The following demo clips feature Steve playing
the Fernandes Revolver Pro 7, demonstrating why he gets so many calls
to play on hit records! Steve does a masterful job here showing some beautiful
and innovative ways to use the Fernandes Sustainer in a 7-string instrument.

In this clip Steve is playing a tasty lick that shows off the Harmonic
mode of the Sustainer. Notice how well the Sustainer works to accent
what hes playing. A cool feature of the Sustainer is that you
can adjust the intensity of it to control how fast the effect kicks
in! |

Here Steve uses the Sustainer in Normal Mode along with a pitch transposing
effect to create a beautiful sustained legato passage, showing one of
many ways that the Sustainer lets you play parts that are impossible
without it.

Off we go into the unknown! Starting off with arpeggiated Lenny Breau
style artificial harmonics, Steve then finishes the passage with ethereal
droning tones spiced up by subtle use of the tremolo bar. Simply beautiful.
This example really showcases the musicality of the Sustainer in a 7
string context. Notice that there is NO distortion or overdrive used
in this example! The Fernandes Sustainer allows you to create your music
with complete freedom no matter what electric tones you want to conjure
up! |

Steve tears into a fiery rock lick here. Check out the ballsy yet clear
tone of the RP7
notice that theres no mud? The reason is
the RP7s body: its made of Alder for clear powerful tone..
