Extreme metallers EXHUMED are currently part of Summer Slaughter Tour, which is going across the US and is set to end in Anaheim, California on August 25.

The band recently stopped by Seymour Duncan headquarters in Santa Barbara and got a supply of Blackout pickups, which where swiftly installed into Matt Harvey's Sustainer-equipped Vortex Elite and Rob Babcock's Tremor 4 Deluxe bass.

"Ortiz" features guest appearances by several musicians, including a guitar duet with Ramon's father. Production was handled by Ramon, with Nick Page (THE DARKNESS) and Alexis Perez co-producing, recording and mixing on some of the tracks. Newest addition to Fernandes artist family is one of the pioneers and most influential musicians in recent history of Rock in Colombia and South America, Tom Abella, who just added a Sustainer-loaded Revolver Elite Limited to his gear arsenal.

Tom is a renowned guitar instructor, composer and clinician who has released several instructional DVDs and solo albums, and has worked with countless musicians including metal, jazz and blues bands. He was part of the Chuck Schuldiner Memorial Fest 2011 with Steve DiGiorgio and Shannon Hamm.

Many Fernandes artists where present at Latin Americas' largest free-admission rock festival, held in Bogota, Colombia from June 30 to July 2, featuring INQUISITION with Dagon and his Ravelle guitars, EL SAGRADO's Alice with her Ravelle guitar and Pajaro with his Gravity bass, HEADCRUSHER's Carlos with his Ravelle and David with his Vortex Elite, and also JUANITA DIENTES VERDES' David Serna with his Monterey Elite and Andres Piedrahita with his Gravity bass.
