Mansons Guitar Shop in Exeter, UK, has announced a second run of the MB-1 Matthew Bellamy signature model, which is already sold out. Next run wont happen until late 2010 or early 2011. Probably the most technologically advanced signature guitar on the planet and based on Bellamy's own cracked mirror M1D1, the MB-1 features a 101 Sustainer circuit and an X/Y MIDI controller pad. The first run, not surprisingly, showed to be as innovative and in demand as the great MUSE frontman himself. The Sustainer system is mainly used in this guitar to keep the strings ringing, to produce the keyboard-like sounds Matt is known for. The band's fifth studio album The Resistance was released in 2009, topping the album charts in 19 countries. MUSE will be headlining the Glastonbury Festival 2010 and the 2010 Hovefestivalen, as well as T in the Park 2010 and Oxegen. Chilean thrash metal masters CRIMINAL have agreed to donate all profits from the band's May 22 London headlining show to the earthquake relief charity Un Techo para Chile. CRIMINAL has just released a new music video for the song "Incubus". The clip, which can be viewed here, was directed by renowned Chilean visual artist Carlos Toro, who has previously worked with KREATOR, VADER, LACRIMOSA and MERCENARY, among others. "Incubus" comes off CRIMINAL's latest album, "White Hell", which was released in February 2009 by Germany's Massacre Records. Anton Reisenegger, lead vocalist, guitarist and founder of the band, can be seen playing his Fernandes Vortex guitar in this video and also on tour with grindcore icons LOCK UP this summer across Europe.
