About Monke Mod Manager
Monke Mod Manager is a desktop application for installing and managing mods for the VR game Gorilla Tag. It provides a simple interface where players can browse a live mod catalog, install mods in one click, and switch between modded and vanilla versions of the game without manually editing files.
The application is free and open-source, released under the MIT license. Because the code is public, anyone can inspect, build or contribute to the project. It is developed by arielthemonke together with community contributors and distributed through official GitHub releases for Windows and Linux.
The manager handles the technical setup automatically. It can install the BepInEx mod loader when it is missing, add downloaded DLLs to the correct plugins folder, resolve dependencies, and clean up or reinstall tracked mods. A built-in config editor exposes mod settings through checkboxes, dropdowns and text fields, and the catalog supports search and sorting.
Monke Mod Manager runs locally on the user's computer and launches Gorilla Tag through Steam directly from the manager. It supports Windows and Linux builds, includes multiple themes and built-in update checking, and keeps mod management self-contained without requiring an account or external service.
