About PKSM

PKSM is a save manager for Pokemon games that runs on the Nintendo 3DS as homebrew. It lets players edit Pokemon in detail — including species, moves, stats, abilities, ribbons, origin and trainer data — and manage collections across many generations of Pokemon games from a single app on the console.

The application is free and open-source, released under the GNU GPL v3.0 and developed by FlagBrew. It is distributed through official GitHub releases in several formats: a CIA build for installation, a 3DSX build for the Homebrew Launcher, and an ELF build.

PKSM includes expandable offline bank storage for Pokemon from Generations I to VIII, an Event Injector with an offline Wonder Card database, QR code scanning, a bag editor, a hex editor and a scripting system that automates complex save operations. It can also load compatible saves stored anywhere on the SD card.

The app runs entirely on the 3DS and works offline, keeping saves and bank storage local to the device with automatic backups. It is designed specifically for the Nintendo 3DS homebrew environment and requires the appropriate build for the user's chosen installation method.
