ReVanced Extended

ReVanced Extended is a community-built patch set that modifies the official YouTube and YouTube Music Android apps to add features the stock clients do not offer. Current builds are produced with the Morphe patcher and are distributed as non-root APKs, Magisk or KernelSU modules, and on-device patches.

The project is free and open-source, released under the GNU GPLv3 license, and developed openly by NoName-exe together with ReVanced contributors. Because the patches are applied to apps you supply, nothing is bundled from a proprietary source, and the full patch definitions are public.

Features include blocking video and feed ads, SponsorBlock for skipping sponsored segments, Return YouTube Dislike, background and picture-in-picture playback, custom playback speed and quality, Shorts controls, interface cleanup, and theme customization. A companion MicroG RE build enables account sign-in on non-root installs.

ReVanced Extended runs on standard Android devices and does not require Google Play Services when paired with MicroG. It adds link-privacy and external-downloader options, and keeps the modifications local to the apps on your device rather than routing activity through an external service.
