WoeUSB (WoeUSB-ng) is a free, open-source Linux utility that creates a bootable Windows installation USB drive from a Windows ISO image, a real installation DVD, or a compatible disk image. It includes both a command-line tool and a graphical interface, with Legacy and UEFI boot support.

WoeUSB, distributed today as WoeUSB-ng, is a Linux utility focused on one job: turning a Windows installation source into a bootable USB drive. From a Windows ISO, a real installation DVD, or a compatible disk image, it produces media you can boot to install, repair or recover Windows.
The tool is free and open-source, released under the GPL license. WoeUSB-ng is the modern, maintained rewrite of the original WoeUSB project, with public source that can be installed from a package manager, pip, or built directly from the repository.
It ships with both a command-line utility, woeusb, for scripted and repeatable workflows, and a graphical interface, woeusbgui, for selecting the source image and target drive visually. It supports Windows Vista, 7, 8.x, 10 and Windows PE images across all languages and editions.
WoeUSB supports both Legacy (MBR / IBM PC) and native UEFI booting, with UEFI installers limited to the FAT filesystem. It does not include Windows itself — you supply the installation source — and it runs on common Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Fedora and Arch.
