Xenia

Xenia is an open-source emulator that reproduces the hardware of Microsoft's Xbox 360 on Windows computers. It enables users to run compatible Xbox 360 games from their own legally obtained media, emulating the console's PowerPC-based CPU and its graphics and audio subsystems in software.

The emulator is free and released under the BSD-3-Clause license, with its source code hosted openly on GitHub. It is developed by the Xenia project and its contributors, who provide a stable Master build alongside a separate community-driven Canary build that includes more experimental features.

Xenia focuses on improving game compatibility and rendering accuracy over time. It supports controller input, configurable graphics options, and a debugging console for advanced users. Companion tools such as a game manager and community patches extend its functionality for organizing and enhancing supported titles.

The project ships without any games, firmware, or copyrighted system files, so users must provide their own content. Xenia runs on 64-bit Windows systems, operates locally on the user's machine, and does not require account registration or collect personal information during use.
