XML Injector

for The Sims 4

Free|V4.2

by Scumbumbo maintained by Triplis

XML Injector is a free script library mod for The Sims 4. It gives other mods a shared way to add interactions and tuning changes through XML snippets, so individual mods do not each need to ship their own custom script.

About XML Injector

XML Injector is a utility mod for The Sims 4 that acts as a shared script library for other modifications. Instead of each mod shipping its own Python script to register new interactions or tuning changes, mod creators can rely on XML Injector to apply those changes through simple XML snippets, making many gameplay and utility mods easier to build and maintain.

The mod is free to download and use, and is widely distributed across the Sims 4 modding community as a common dependency. It was originally created by Scumbumbo and is now maintained by Triplis, who has kept it updated for current versions of the game.

XML Injector can inject interactions onto objects, Sims, phones, computers and mailboxes, add entries to the relationship panel and pie menus, and inject into the game's AffordanceLists. It can add loot actions to LootActions and RandomWeightLoot tunings, add buffs to traits, add states and state triggers to objects, and register satisfaction store rewards and purchase picker interactions.

Installation is a one-time step: the package is placed in the Sims 4 Mods folder and reused by any compatible mod that requires it. It runs entirely within the game, adds no external services and collects no data, and is compatible with the mods that list it as a prerequisite.
